The general terms and conditions (Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen) governing the contract between you and Pila Studio UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
Version 2.0 · In effect from 31 July 2026
Please read section 17 (Limitation of liability) and section 15 (No professional advice) carefully. They limit what we are responsible for.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms restricts rights you have under mandatory law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding contract between you and:
Pila Studio UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Berlin, Germany
Registered at Amtsgericht Charlottenburg, HRB 289822 B · Represented by The managing director (name held in the commercial register)
Email: hello@livestockfarm.co
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Pila Studio UG (haftungsbeschränkt). “You” means the person or entity entering into this contract.
These Terms apply exclusively. Any general terms of your own do not apply and are hereby expressly rejected, even where we perform the contract without objecting to them, unless we have agreed to their application in writing.
Separate or supplementary terms apply to particular features and, in case of conflict, prevail over these Terms for that feature: the Farm Shop Seller Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Instructions on withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung)
Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise it, you must inform us — Pila Studio UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Berlin, Germany, email hello@livestockfarm.co — of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service:

Where the contract is for the supply of digital content or digital services not supplied on a tangible medium, your right of withdrawal expires before the end of the 14-day period if we have begun performance and you have expressly consented to us beginning performance before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356 (5) BGB). We obtain this consent and acknowledgement at checkout; if you do not give it, access begins after the withdrawal period ends.
For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, withdrawal and refunds are handled by that store under its own terms.
You agree not to:
You are further responsible for maintaining independent backups of business-critical records, for the security of your device, and for the consequences of running the app on a jailbroken or rooted device.
The Services include community features. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You must not post, upload or transmit content that:
Where we identify a violation, we may — proportionately to its seriousness — remove or restrict the content, issue a warning, temporarily suspend the account, terminate the account permanently, or report the matter to law enforcement where we are required to or where there is a threat to life or safety.
We aim to review reported content within 24 hours of receiving a report. Every user can report objectionable content or abusive behaviour using the “Report” function in the app, or via the mechanism described in section 11.
We are not obliged to monitor content proactively (Art. 8 Regulation (EU) 2022/2065; § 7 (2) TMG). Carrying out voluntary own-initiative investigations does not, of itself, deprive us of the liability exemptions available to us.
This section implements Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act).
Any person may notify us of content on the Services they consider illegal, by writing to hello@livestockfarm.co or using the in-app “Report” function. To allow us to act, a notice should contain:
We will confirm receipt without undue delay, process notices in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner, and inform you of our decision and of the redress options available.
Where we remove content, restrict its visibility, suspend or terminate an account, or suspend monetary payments, we will give the affected user a clear and specific statement of reasons, setting out the restriction imposed, the facts and grounds relied on, whether automated means were used, the contractual or legal ground relied on, and the redress available.
For six months after a decision, you may lodge a free complaint against it by writing to hello@livestockfarm.co. We will review the complaint under the supervision of appropriately qualified staff — not solely by automated means — reverse the decision without undue delay where it was wrong, and inform you of the outcome and of your right to select an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Article 21 DSA, and to seek redress before the courts.
After issuing a prior warning, we will suspend for a reasonable period users who frequently provide manifestly illegal content, and the processing of notices and complaints from persons who frequently submit manifestly unfounded ones.
Our single point of contact for authorities and for recipients of the service under Articles 11 and 12 DSA is hello@livestockfarm.co. Communications may be in English or German.
Livestock Manager is a record-keeping and organisational tool. It is not a veterinary, medical, legal, financial, tax or regulatory advisory service, and nothing in it constitutes professional advice of any kind.
All automated output — breeding schedules and timelines, task reminders, health and mortality alerts, feed calculations and formulas, financial reports, analytics and AI-generated suggestions — is informational and indicative only. It may be incomplete, outdated or wrong.
Our liability is governed exclusively by this section and by the mandatory provisions of statutory law.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, in particular under §§ 305 ff. BGB for consumers.
